    AMOREPACIFIC Corporation、AMOREPACIFIC Global Operations Limited , and AMOREPACIFIC HONG KONG Co. Limited ("we," "our") respect your statutory privacy rights when collecting, storing, using, and transmitting personal data. This Privacy Policy Statement explains our privacy practices.

    Please carefully read the following content to understand our policies and practices regarding the handling of your personal data. This policy may be revised from time to time, and any revisions will take effect immediately upon publication. We encourage you to regularly review this Privacy Policy Statement to ensure that you are always aware of the practices concerning your information. In the event of any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of this Privacy Policy Statement, the English version shall prevail.

    The term "personal data" in this Privacy Policy Statement has the meaning ascribed to it in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Chapter 486) of the laws of Hong Kong.

    2. Categories of Personal Data Collected

    You may be required to provide your personal data from time to time, including but not limited to your name, gender, age, date of birth, phone number, fax number, address, email address, credit card information, educational background, occupation, household income, interests, and preferences. It is mandatory for you to provide certain information to us (see the third paragraph below) and if you refuse to provide such information and/or provide incomplete or inaccurate information, it may prevent us from providing certain services to you. If you are under the age of eighteen, you must obtain the consent of your parent or guardian before providing any personal data to us.

    3. Purposes of Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

    When you make purchases, participate in related promotional activities, or apply to become a member of any of our brands, including but not limited to "AMOREPACIFIC, Sulwhasoo, LANEIGE, ETUDE HOUSE, GOUTAL PARIS, Ryo, Fresh POP, and Mise-en-scène," we may collect your personal data.

    Certain personal data may be required if you wish to receive certain services from us. These data will be indicated as "mandatory information" in the membership application form. If you want us to provide the requested services, you must provide us with this personal data. If certain personal data is voluntary, it will not be marked as "mandatory information," and you can decide whether to provide such data to us.

    To receive the following services, you must provide us with your personal data:

    1. Participating in and maintaining your membership with us
    2. Accumulating membership reward points
    3. Notifying you of benefits and offers available to you as a member
    4. Enjoying member privileges
    5. Notifying you of any amendments to the membership program
    6. Data cleansing and customer data updates
    7. Providing ongoing customer support services related to your membership

    We may use any personal data provided by you (whether mandatory or voluntary) to enable us to provide the following additional services and/or engage in the following activities:

    1. Obtaining statistical data to better understand our customers
    2. Conducting internal research and analysis to provide tailored rewards, services, product information, or gifts that meet your specific needs

    2. Any agents, contractors, or third-party service providers (collectively referred to as "third-party providers") who provide administrative, telecommunications, computer, direct marketing, advertising, or other services to us for the processing and storage of your data.
    3. Any actual or proposed assignee, assignor, or successor of AMOREPACIFIC Corporation, AMOREPACIFIC Global Operations Limited, or AMOREPACIFIC HONG KONG Co. Limited. Government and regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, and other organizations as required or authorized by law.
    4. Third-party providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and contractual terms that restrict them from using your personal data for purposes other than those stated in the third paragraph above, including direct marketing. We will ensure that any third-party service provider that we use commits to an appropriate level of security to protect your personal data.
    5. Direct Marketing

    We may also use your personal data, including your name, phone number, address, and email address, for direct marketing purposes. We will not use your personal data for direct marketing unless we have obtained your consent as required by law.

    If you consent, your personal data may be used for the following purposes:

    1. Notifying you about new product launches and other promotional offers, including (where applicable) skincare products, cosmetics, makeup products, beauty supplements, body care products, makeup services, body care services, and beauty services.
    2. Informing you about our promotional activities, including (where applicable) makeup classes and/or demonstrations, skincare seminars, other beauty workshops, PR events, VIP customer gatherings, product sets, store opening events, store announcement events, exhibitions, fashion shows, and latest news.
    3. Notifying you about skincare, makeup, or body care services and activities at our counters or outside counters for promotional and rewarding purposes.
    4. Marketing reward programs, birthday offers, free trial products, digital campaigns, roadshows/street promotions, and the latest news in-store.
    5. Informing you about joint promotions or activities with shopping malls, department stores, credit cards, banks, industries, celebrity magazines, TV, websites, culture, art or music groups/organizations, charitable organizations, or non-profit organizations.
    6. Cross-brand collaboration promotions and/or activities with brands under AMOREPACIFIC Corporation, AMOREPACIFIC Global Operations Limited, and AMOREPACIFIC HONG KONG Co. Limited.

    If you have agreed to receive direct marketing communications from us or our brands, our group members or our partners may occasionally act as our service providers and send marketing communications on our behalf. However, we will not provide your personal data to any third parties for them to send you marketing materials regarding their own products or services, unless you allow this. If at any time you do not wish us to use your personal data for the direct marketing purposes described above, you may exercise your opt-out right by contacting us through the channels listed in the eighth paragraph below.

    The personal data you provide to our company will be securely stored in our customer service system and can only be accessed by authorized personnel. We take all reasonable steps, including the implementation of technical and physical security measures, to ensure that all your personal data held by us is kept secure and safe from any loss or unauthorised disclosure, use and modification.

    We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected.
